There are primal forces at play when the David Miilmann Group (DMG) takes the stage and opens up their genre-defying universe. It’s captivating and emotional as the band collectively moves between the composed and the improvised, creating a unique experience for themselves and the audience. With David Miilmann’s singing slide guitar as the catalyst and a shared love for music, DMG invites the listener into a colorful and uplifting community that also holds elements of melancholy and reflection. DMG released their second album What’s Left in March 2024 through April Records, following their debut album Waiting for Myself in late summer 2021. The band has found success with two DMA Blues nominations, becoming finalists in the Jazz Competition, and receiving airplay on P8 Jazz.
